Collaboration is one of the main paths to transform Research, Development and Innovation into results for the energy sector.

The SPE RD&I Technical Committee Brazil thanks Shell, the Research Centre for Greenhouse Gas Innovation (RCGI), and the Offshore Technology Innovation Centre (OTIC) for the invitation and the opportunity to participate in this important meeting held at the University of São Paulo.

The visit provided an excellent environment for knowledge exchange, discussion of research and innovation initiatives, and strengthening the connection between industry, academia, and research centers, contributing to expanding collaboration opportunities within the Brazilian RD&I ecosystem.

We would also like to thank the members of our committee representing PRIO, Shell, CNPC Brasil, PETRONAS, Petrobras, and SPE Macaé Section who participated in the meeting and contributed to the discussions and the development of new connections.

We continue working to connect operators, universities, ICTs, and specialists, encouraging collaborative initiatives capable of generating impact for the energy industry in Brazil.
