Offshore innovation in motion: electrification at the center of the transformation

The SPE RD&I Technical Committee Brazil took part in yet another important initiative connecting technology, innovation and industry.

Our members Paulo Chiquito (TotalEnergies), Douglas Soares, PhD (Galp) and Adriano Motta (Equinor) took part in a technical visit to OneSubsea in São José dos Pinhais (PR), getting a close look at technologies and solutions focused on the electrification of offshore systems.

The initiative provided an excellent opportunity to learn about advances applied from subsea production systems to well completions, exploring how greater integration, efficiency and sustainability can contribute to the future of offshore developments.

For our Committee, being close to the technologies, experts and companies driving this transformation is essential to strengthen the connection between the industry’s challenges and the RD&I opportunities in Brazil.
